To change from one plug type to another just loosen the screw with small posidrive screwdriver ( labelled CAT5e and CAT7 for convenience) and move the position from one to another. For CAT6A and CAT7 plugs the cable clamp pin is disabled and for normal Cat5e/CAT6 plugs it is enabled , that being the basic difference. The ground crimp function will neatly clamp the extended earth clip/tails around the cable for a nice professional finish.
