With 6.1 Joules of impact energy, the 54V cordless DCH481 SDS Max hammer drill can drill up to 40mm in solid concrete and up to 100mm using a diamond core* (*Concrete density can vary. Maximum range from 45mm - 100mm). Featuring both hammer stop and rotation stop the DCH481 can be used for chiselling as well as drilling a variety of different substrates. The FlexVolt brushless motor delivers an increased runtime with minimum maintenance increasing productivity and reducing down time. Utilising the full 54V from the battery this delivers corded performance from a cordless platform. Part of the DeWalt Perform & Protect range, it features anti rotation control to prevent wrist injuries in snagging situations. Vibration control technology delivers a low vibration of 9.4m/s2 allowing this tool to be used for longer before reaching maximum safe exposure levels.
